Ronaldo and Morata to Man Utd: Real Madrid could be offered De Gea to secure arrangement

The Spain international has established himself as one of the world’s top goalkeepers since arriving at Old Trafford in 2011.

And his form for the Red Devils has long seen him linked with a move back to his homeland with La Liga giants Real Madrid.

De Gea went close to leaving Manchester United for a return to Spain in the summer of 2015, only for a late fax machine issue to scupper the deal.

But Real Madrid have maintained an interest in signing him and they were said to have launched a £60m bid to secure his services earlier this month.

Meanwhile, sensational reports in Portugal yesterday suggested Real Madrid star Ronaldo wants to quit the Bernabeu.

“Manchester United could use David De Gea as bait to land Real Madrid stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Alvaro Morata.”

And The SUn have now claimed the 32-year-old is desperate to go back to Manchester United, where he made his name.

The newspaper indicate Real Madrid are likely to demand £150m before they will consider letting him go.

And Ronaldo is likely hoping any club that comes in for him will be able to match his current £365,000-a-week wages.

Manchester United are realistically one of just a handful of teams who could pay the winger that mammoth amount.
